Once again, APGAI Ireland Instructors were in attendance at the well-attended BASC Game Fair which was held in a rather muddy Ballywalter Park, Co. Down on the weekend of 2nd/3rd May 2009.

Joe Stitt and Pat Hughes attracted the crowds with Casting Demonstrations in the Main Arena over both days. In the marquee, Lawrence Finney performed his Fly-Dressing Master Classes and Arthur Greenwood worked with countless youngsters on Saturday and Sunday, introducing them to the art of tying trout flies.

APGAI Ireland members were also in continual demand at the lake, giving casting tuition to a large number of interested beginners and improvers. The queues for lessons were testament to the popularity of this aspect of APGAI Ireland’s work and our hard-working Instructors were last to leave the site on both days.
